Campus Community Commitments
The College of the Ozarks is a Christian community which seeks to develop citizens of Christlike character. In an effort to offer unique learning opportunities and community worship, students participate in extra-curricular convocations and chapel programs.
These programs provide a unique educational experience, while exposing students to the fundamental goals of College of the Ozarks. As part of your commitment to the College, you have agreed to participate in the followinng:
Christian
- Chapel Services (Sundays at 11:00 am)
Attend 5 per semester
Character
- Christian Convocation
- Academic Convocation
- Cultural Convocation
- Vocational Convocation
- Patriotic Convocation
Attend 5 per semester.
Choice
- Chapel Services
- Any Convocation
Attend 5 per semester.
Certain convocations may require that all students attend.
Students should plan ahead when deciding which events to attend, as there are fewer choices in convocations.
All convocations and chapel programs will require business dress.
