The College of the Ozarks Chorale will perform a concert in the Williams Memorial Chapel today, April 23, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. The concert is free and open to the public. Tickets are not required. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The College of the Ozarks Chorale is an auditioned group of 25 singers that perform a wide range of advanced music in many styles and languages. The concert emphasizes vocal music used to tell a story to an audience.

This year’s program will feature four distinct song cycles from the 20th and 21st centuries. Each cycle is a collection of individual songs that can stand on their own as a concert piece, yet were originally composed to be sung as a group. The program consists of both secular and sacred works that each contain their own story.

Senior music composition student Dalton Wilson will present the concert premier of his written work, YHWH (Yahweh). The Chorale will give the world premiere of Dalton’s piece in his senior composition recital.

“The contemporary music includes themes of creation, love, nature, and God,” said Chorale Director Nathan Cornelius. “We are very excited for our performance and hope to see Williams Memorial Chapel full on April 23.”
