Effective immediately, College of the Ozarks has announced the promotion of Dr. Natalie Rasnick, Ed.D., to assistant vice president for advancement.

Rasnick’s promotion coincides with the appointment of S. Maria Lohmeyer as assistant vice president for marketing and strategic communication, underscoring the College’s strategic investment in coordinated advancement and communication leadership. Both roles report to Dr. Sue Head, vice president for cultural activities and institutional advancement.

Rasnick has served the College for more than 15 years, most recently as dean of development, and she will continue to facilitate donor engagement at a strategic and institutional level in support of the College’s mission and long-term financial sustainability.

“Natalie’s leadership has been instrumental in strengthening the financial foundation of College of the Ozarks,” Head said. “Her understanding of our mission, her genuine care for our donors, and her strategic approach to philanthropy have helped ensure that thousands of students can receive a Christ-centered education without incurring debt.”

As dean of development, Rasnick has contributed to fundraising efforts for the College, including major and planned gifts, donor relations, stewardship, and advancement events. Her work has supported the College’s unique financial model and expanded opportunities for underprivileged students to graduate debt free from “Hard Work U.” She has been deeply involved in cultivating donor relationships through personal engagement, strategic communications, data-driven prospect development, and meaningful donor experiences.

In her role as assistant vice president for advancement, Rasnick will continue to be involved in advancement efforts while contributing at a strategic level to institutional planning, donor development, and long-term philanthropic growth. She will work closely with senior leadership to align fundraising priorities with the College’s mission, vision, and strategic goals.

Rasnick began her career at College of the Ozarks as an assistant professor, later transitioning to the Development Office. Prior to joining the College, she worked in marketing and public relations at Herschend Family Entertainment. She holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Leadership and Learning in Organizations from Vanderbilt University, a Master of Arts in Communication from Missouri State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication and Public Relations from College of the Ozarks.
