Embrace the responsibility of carrying forward the lessons of 9/11 and strive to build a future worthy of the sacrifices made on that day. And to our first responders, the firefighters, police officers, paramedics, emergency personnel … Your continued service is a testament to the enduring strength of our communities. You remind us that heroes walk among us every day, quietly and selflessly dedicating their lives to protecting others.”
