POINT LOOKOUT, MO. — On Saturday, Oct. 5, College of the Ozarks will host its annual auction at the transportation garage on campus at 10 a.m.

The auction is open to the public.

The College auctions its own antiques, tools, automobiles, appliances, and household items such as furniture and kitchenware and donations. Robert Owens, of Holt Auction Company, will serve as this year’s auctioneer. The auction will offer customers items such as antique cabinets, musical instruments, restaurant equipment, household furniture, and commercial power tools.

“This is a great opportunity for the general public to purchase the College’s used surplus property, and by doing so, this allows College of the Ozarks to clean out the inventory on campus,” said Dr. Marvin Schoenecke, dean of work education and administration. “Additionally, we enjoy seeing returning faces and meeting new people from our community.”
