POINT LOOKOUT, MO. — A College of the Ozarks music ensemble, under the direction of Gregg Busch, assistant professor of music and theatre, and Dr. John Cornish, assistant professor of music, will lead the campus and community in a night of praise and worship. The convocation will take place on Monday, Oct. 28, at 7 p.m. in the Jones Auditorium.

The convocation is free and open to the public. Seating is limited and available on a first come, first served basis.

The group will be comprised of members from the College of the Ozarks chorale, chapel choir, concert band, jazz band, and orchestra.

“We are really excited to be offering a night of praise and worship where we can come together as a campus to lift our hearts and voices in praise,” Busch said.

Students will share brief testimonies and Justin Sharp, campus minister, will bring a brief message.

“Our hopes and prayers are that the evening would not be viewed as a musical performance but rather a time for the College and community to gather together and worship the Triune God,” Cornish said. “Our desire is that each person who attends is able to set aside the struggles of life and focus on the goodness and grace that is freely available to us as we turn our attention to the Lord.”
