COLLEGE OF THE OZARKS HOMECOMING PLANNED FOR EARLY NOVEMBER

POINT LOOKOUT, MO. — College of the Ozarks will kick off Homecoming 2019, themed Hard Work U.: Stay True, with its annual Miss Hard Work U. Coronation Ceremony on Thursday, Oct. 31, at 7 p.m., in Jones Auditorium.

Homecoming events will run through Saturday, Nov. 2. Guests on campus are encouraged to join the students at a chapel the following day, Sunday, Nov. 3, at 11 a.m.

Alumni and members of the community are invited to participate in many Homecoming activities, including the 5k Glow Run/Walk hosted on campus, Bobcat basketball, and the traditional C of O parade held on campus Saturday afternoon at 2:15 p.m.

“Homecoming is a wonderful time to return to campus to celebrate friendships and honor traditions,” said Alumni Director Angela Williamson. “It is also a great time to honor some outstanding alumni who are making an impact on their communities, businesses, and the world.”

In order to honor the accomplishments of several notable alumni, the 2019 Meritorious Awards will be presented during the festivities. Those being awarded include Robert Lewis (’58) JC, Distinguished Achievement Award; Mark and Dori Rapinchuk, Distinguished Community Service Award; Scott Roberts (’99), Distinguished Achievement Award; Dr. Ryan Siebert (’07), Distinguished Young Alumnus Award.
