COLLEGE OF THE OZARKS CONCERT BAND TO PERFORM IN JONES AUDITORIUM, FRIDAY, APRIL 28

POINT LOOKOUT, MO. — College of the Ozarks Concert Band will perform a concert in the Jones Auditorium on Friday, April 28, at 7:30 p.m. There is no admission charge, and the event is open to the public.

“Sky Dance,” by Richard Saucedo

“American Salute,” by Morton Gould

“United We Stand,” by John O’Reilly 

“English Dances,” by Malcolm Arnold

“Rondo” from “Concerto No. 1 for Clarinet,” by Carl Maria von Weber

“For Which We Stand,” by Paul Murtha 

“The Trombone King,” by Karl L. King

“This concert will feature a wide variety of musical styles; there should be something for everyone,” said Dr. Kevin Powers, director.  “This concert will feature senior clarinetist Ciara Gleason on the clarinet concerto ‘Rondo.’ Ciara is a truly outstanding clarinet performer; we are so excited to feature her with the Concert Band.”
