COLLEGE OF THE OZARKS TO PARTICIPATE IN SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY

POINT LOOKOUT, MO. — People in communities everywhere will shop local during Small Business Saturday, Nov. 30. Students at College of the Ozarks in Point Lookout, Missouri, just south of Branson, work in student industries throughout campus, making them part of the local, small business community.

At the Fruitcake and Jelly Kitchen, visitors can taste samples of the newest fruit spreads and custom recipes made each day by students. The aromas of peppermint and Cyprus greet guests as students hand-pour candles at the Stained Glass and Candle Shop. At Edwards Mill, guests can find biscuit and waffle mixes perfect for Christmas morning.

College of the Ozarks student industries are open for Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and throughout the month of December.

Please note the following dates students will be out for holiday breaks:  

Nov. 27–28: Closed for Thanksgiving Holiday

Dec. 21–27: Closed for Christmas Holiday

Jan. 1: Closed for New Year’s Day

Regular hours for student industries: Mon – Sat., 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

The College’s student-made items are available as corporate gifts. Customers may purchase items on-site at the College of the Ozarks campus, online at store.cofo.edu, or by calling (833) 267-1985. Gifts for Christmas can be shipped until Dec. 20.
