College of the Ozarks art students host senior exhibition

POINT LOOKOUT, MO. — College of the Ozarks 2021 art majors hosted their senior art exhibition in the Boger Art Gallery, April 19 – 25. Located inside the Jones Learning Center, the gallery is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The exhibition featured the work of the following seniors:

• Ben Scheets, graphic design major from Cabool, MO
• Olivia Stephens, ceramics major from Branson, MO
• Andrew Reed, ceramics major from Overland Park, KS
• Anthony Allen, graphic design major from Derby, KS
• Ryan Cornelius, graphic design major from Bruner, MO
• Ashley Taylor, psychology major from Joplin, MO

“Although you might be creative and expressive, if you make something and keep it to yourself, it isn’t really art,” said Michael Ashley, assistant professor of art. “I think that sharing art is like sharing our faith, it doesn’t grow until we share it with those around us.”
