Student Missouri State Teachers Association

The Student Missouri State Teachers Association (S-MSTA) is open to all Elementary and Secondary Education majors and serves as a bridge to your teaching career. It connects you to other education majors at the college and around the state, provides an opportunity for you to network with professional educators, and helps you prepare for a career in education. The group usually meets once per month, and a schedule of meeting dates and times can be obtained from the Education Department. Meetings include guest speakers from the education field, community service projects, and involvement in campus activities such as homecoming. Education faculty serve as the sponsors for S-MSTA and encourage all education majors to actively participate in this professional organization.
