Dr. Janice Williams is a Professor of Nursing and the Don and Marie Garner Nursing Program Director. Her research interests include leadership, teaching students how to reason well, critical thinking assessment in nursing education, and diabetes education. Dr. Williams is a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) by NDBDE, a CCNE Site Evaluator and Missouri State Board of Nursing Adjunct Surveyor, and she has a Parish Nursing Certificate. Altogether, Dr. Williams has 30 plus years in nursing education with 20 plus years in nursing administration.
