Rebecca McGarry joined the Behavioral Science Department as an Assistant Professor of Family Studies at College of the Ozarks in August 2022. She graduated with a B.A. in Sociology and Psychology in 2012 from College of the Ozarks. She received her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Kansas in 2014. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Missouri. Her experience includes community behavioral health, faith-based private practice, and not-for-profit agencies. She has experience working with children, families, and adults. She is the current advisor of the Family Studies Club. She enjoys providing hands-on learning opportunities and helping individuals build community connections.
