Heavy Equipment Operator

Heavy Equipment operates all pieces of heavy equipment and machinery for campus building and construction needs.
Primary duties and responsibilities:
Operate backhoe, loader, forklift, and other heavy machinery vehicles,
Take care of equipment and heavy machinery.
Secondary duties and responsibilities:
Perform any task given by work supervisor and assist on various campus tasks,
Additional physical labor such as shoveling and moving items, etc.
Complete campus driver’s safety training class and forklift training,
Dependability, promptness, and adherence to the work schedule,
Pay attention to detail, especially when operating equipment in heavily populated areas,
Take care of College equipment.
Take initiative and follow directions well,
Ability to work with others,
Desire to work outdoors,
Responsibility to complete task.
Must be extremely conscious of safety in the operation of all College equipment.
The student will:
Learn to operate a backhoe, loader, forklift, and other heavy machinery,
