Job Description:
Student workers must be able to work late hours during varsity contests, communicate with media, and have the ability to write articles.
Primary duties and responsibilities:
Keep statistics during varsity home contests,
Report results to local media,
Maintain statistics for the conference and the NAIA; report weekly results via Websync,
Prepare media guides, schedules, programs, and posters; write monthly Booster Club letters,
Assist faculty with general office duties,
Serve as stat crews and admission gate workers at home athletic contests,
Keeping offices clean and equipment ready for use by the Physical Education and Athletic Departments.
Secondary duties and responsibilities:
Responsibilities: contacting sponsors, ticket sales, ticket distribution, allocating credentials, and scheduling volunteers.
Basic Qualifications:
Have an interest in sports,
Be able to work nights and weekends,
Ability to write clearly and objectively.

Learning Objectives:
The student will:
Manage daily office operations such as organizing and filing,
Maintain overall level of cleanliness throughout the office,
Assist Head/Assistant coach in completing scouting reports for upcoming games,
Assist Sports Information Department with all games by learning different skills that can be applied during games (i.e. shot clock, scoreboard, etc.),
Assist coaching staff with game day preparations such as setting up umpires' locker room, and creating team agendas,
Perform inventory and maintain all supplies, and inform coach of any problems,
Supervise study halls and maintain a quality working environment for those attending,
Assists in general upkeep of baseball facilities, both indoor and outdoor,
Effectively use the internet for research,
Assist in organization and execution of various camps and tournaments.
