SUBJECT: POSITIVE RESPONSE CALLS FOR ENCORE PERFORMANCE OF “FOUR-STAR COUNTRY BOY”

By:  Haley Jones

Due to the overwhelming positive response to College of the Ozarks original play “Four-Star Country Boy,” the College will host an extra showing of the production on December 14, at 2 p.m., in the Royal Oak Forum of The Keeter Center.

“Four-Star Country Boy,” depicts the story of School of the Ozarks alumnus General Terrence R. Dake (USMC, ret.), a Vietnam War Veteran with humble beginnings, who rose in the ranks to become Assistant Commandant of the United States Marine Corps.

Adapted for stage by Professor of Theatre and Chair of Professional and Performing Arts Mark Young, from the book The Four Generals of Hard Work U by C of O President Jerry C. Davis, the show is produced and performed by C of O students.

Tickets to the performance are complimentary.  Seating is first-come, first-served. For more information, please call The Keeter Center at 417-239-1900.
