A Big Win

Following a tough loss to Drury in 5 sets on Tuesday evening, the Bobcats headed to Oklahoma Baptist University intent on working hard and finishing strong.   On Thursday evening, they accomplished these goals by defeating Oklahoma Baptist University in four sets!  Oklahoma Baptist was ranked 10th earlier this week in the 2013 Tachikara-NAIA Volleyball Coaches’ Top 25 Poll.  The Bobcats gave it their best effort and won the first two sets 25-23 and 25-22. After losing set 3, the Bobcats rebounded and finished off the upset with a 25-19 win.  Jenny Wuerffel and Jamie Reaves led the team in kills, Hayley Blair and Brittney Clay in digs, and Hannah Brown in service aces.   The Cats improved their record to 10-9 and are headed to Oklahoma Wesleyan for conference play on Friday.
