Chicago (Turabian) Style Bibliographic Citations

The Chicago or Turabian style of citation is sometimes used for research papers in the humanities.

The library has two books in the circulating collection with information about this style of citation:

R 808.027 C532p        Chicago Manual of Style, 15th ed. (2003).

808.02 T929m             A Manual for Writers of Term Papers, Theses, and Dissertations, 6th ed. (1996)

                                      by Kate Turabian.

Here are some links to web sites with examples of this citation style:

History: Documenting Sources  (excellent starting point with many examples)

Using Chicago Style to Cite and Document Sources  (has examples for Internet sources)
