Money Magazine ranks C of O No. 1 in the state

Money Magazine ranked College of the Ozarks as the No. 1 College in Missouri on their list, The Best Colleges in Every State.

Each year, Money uses enrollment data and student outcomes to determine which colleges provide the best value for tuition dollars. College of the Ozarks ranked No. 73 on the list of 2017 Best Colleges for Your Money. But while that list is 711 schools long, many students are considering a much smaller set of colleges. According to Money, 53% of freshmen at four-year colleges go to school within 100 miles of their home, and more than 80% attend one within 500 miles.

For them, Money produced the list of the best college in just about every U.S. state.
