SUBJECT: “VEGGIE TALES” CREATOR PHIL VISCHER TO SPEAK AT COLLEGE OF THE OZARKS

Phil Vischer, creator of the computer-animated series “Veggie Tales,” will speak at College of the Ozarks on February 5, at 7 p.m., in Jones auditorium.
He will share his journey with “Veggie Tales” and the process of building a company within the animation industry.
Vischer is an American voice actor, puppeteer, writer, animator and songwriter. He is famous for providing the voice of, “Bob the Tomato,” in the series “Veggie Tales.” Mr. Vischer actively develops new ways to integrate faith and storytelling through his new creative shop, Jellyfish Labs. Vischer’s current project is JellyTelly, an online Bible-based alternative to gaming and video systems directed towards families.
There have been more than 50 million “Veggie Tales” videos sold, and they are present in one-third of American homes.
