POINT LOOKOUT, MO. — College of the Ozarks alumna MiKaela Wardlaw Lemmon spoke to students on Monday, Feb. 12, as a part of an academic convocation.
Lemmon shared her journey to achieving success. By sharing her story, she is hopeful students may avoid some of the ‘potholes’ she has encountered.
“Mrs. Lemmon caught my attention when she said, ‘Align your choices and career with your values and beliefs,’” said freshman Michael McGinnis, biblical and theological studies major. “This statement was a major encouragement to me as a student considering what type of company or organization I may want to work for some day. This advice empowers me to pursue a career whole-heartedly within a culture where you are free to be yourself.”
