SUBJECT: TWO TIMES SET FOR CHRISTMAS CARD TO THE COMMUNITY
By: Mitchel Clark
College of the Ozarks will present Christmas Card to the Community twice on December 15, at 2 p.m. and at 7 p.m. in the Williams Memorial Chapel. The event is a traditional, Christian worship service that features Christmas music presented by the College’s Chapel Choir, Chorale, and Handbell Choir. Doors will open at 1:30 p.m. for the 2 p.m. service and 6:30 p.m. for the 7 p.m. service.
“Christmas Card to the Community has become such a popular tradition that it was difficult to seat all who attended,” says Elizabeth Hughes, C of O public relations director. “In light of this, the College will host two worship services this year instead of one.”
The service, themed “Come and Worship,” will feature hymns and traditional carols with opportunities for congregational participation with an emphasis on worship.
College of the Ozarks invites the public to share in this annual Christmas service. A fruitcake reception will immediately follow the both services in the Fellowship Hall of the Chapel. Tickets are not required; seating is limited. For more information, please contact Public Relations at 417-690-2212 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
