Second Place Finish

Bobcat Volleyball Tean
On Saturday, the Bobcat Volleyball team faced Bellevue University (Bellevue, Nebraska) in the tournament championship game for the Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference.  Finishing the regular season, the Bellevue Bruins (12-0) and College of the Ozarks Bobcats (10-1) were the top two teams in the conference respectively.  Despite finding themselves down two games to none (20-25, 21-25) in the opening of the Bellevue game, the Bobcats fought back to win the next two sets (25-19 and 26-24).  The fifth set was no exception to the close competition between these two teams, but the Bellevue Bruins came out on top 15-13 to claim the tournament championship.  Leading the Bobcats were Hannah Meadows- 19 kills, Hayley Blair-21 digs, Peyton Peavey-5 blocks, and Sarah Kreul-29 assists.  The Bruin leaders included Annie Benson-18 kills, Beth Walker and Sydney Deboer- 3 blocks, Beth Walker-59 assists, and Caitlyn Reuth with 19 digs.   Congratulations to the C of O Bobcats on a fantastic season!
