The Bobcat Cheer Team! A special part of the Homecoming parade included a group of Alumni Veterans, led by Lt. Gen. Gary Hughey ’65 HS. The Meritorious Award Winners get ready for the annual Homecoming Parade! Fans filled the gym to watch the Bobcats play Graceland University. The Bobcats won the game 76-65. In honor of their 50th reunion, the 1962 Basketball Team members in attendance joined their coach, Dr. Arvil Burks, on the floor during halftime. The School of the Ozarks Color Guard opened the annual Alumni Banquet on Saturday evening. Dr. John Anderson ’92 received the Meritorious Award for Distinguished Young Alumnus. Mrs. Sandy (Roberts) Cooper ’78 was honored with the Meritorious Award for Distinguished Community Service. Dr. Don Tilmon ’63 JC was this year’s recipient of the Meritorious Award for Distinguished Achievement. Al and Marty Waller were recognized with the Meritorious Award for Distinguished Service to College of the Ozarks. Mr. Roy Hopper ’44 was surprised with a Sponsor Plateau of Giving plaque at the Alumni Banquet on Saturday evening. Presenting him this honor was Lt. Gen. Gary Hughey ’65 HS and Dr. Jerry C. Davis. A highlight of the Alumni Banquet included a presentation on the new S of O High School.
