Campusweb & C of O Email Address: Throughout the spring semester you will receive graduation information through your C of O email address, so be sure to check your email often. Your C of O email address will remain in effect until June 30, 2020. Your Campusweb account will remain accessible to you as long as the college maintains the software. As alumni, you will continue to have access to the Campusweb.

Graduation fee: A fee of $50.00 will be charged to your student account to cover a portion of the costs associated with graduation ceremonies and events (refer to Graduation Requirements under Academic Policies in the online College Catalog This fee can be paid in person or by sending a check to the Cash Accounts office in the Berger Building. You may also pay your fee online through CASHNet. Your fee is due by April 17, 2020. Please make any checks payable to the College of the Ozarks.

Excused Absences: If you are unable to attend Baccalaureate or Commencement exercises or rehearsal, you must submit your request to be absent, in writing, addressed to the Dean of the College by April 3, 2020. Graduates who are excused by the deadline will be charged a reduced fee.

Program Information: You will receive program information through your C of O email address. Make sure you monitor your email. You will be asked to verify your:

  • Degree (BS, BSN, or BA);
  • Major(s) and minor(s);
  • Hometown


Caps and Gowns: Through your C of O email you will be asked to verify your measurements for your cap and gown. They will be distributed at the Alumni Center (upstairs) on Thursday, April 30, 2020, from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. after the Senior Catwalk.

Senior Catwalk: In honor of the graduating class, there will be a Senior Catwalk on April 30, 2020. Seniors will meet at the Chapel at 4:00 p.m. for a brief prayer then begin the Senior Catwalk up to the Alumni Center where there will be festivities to celebrate your success. As you depart the Chapel, you will be given a challenge coin to present to someone who has made an impact during your time at C of O. To celebrate your success faculty, staff, and students will line the roadway and Keeter Hill. When you arrive at the Alumni center you will find a Gourmet Tailgate meal.


Rehearsal: Graduates are required to attend unless excused. Rehearsal for Baccalaureate and Commencement will be at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 9th, in the Keeter Gymnasium. Caps and gowns must be worn during the Saturday dress rehearsal. Photographs will be taken so dress appropriately.

Baccalaureate: Graduates are required to attend unless excused. Baccalaureate exercises will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 10th in the Keeter Gymnasium. Seniors will line up at 10:30 a.m. Seating for your parents and guests will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. Doors will open at 10:00 a.m. for guests.

Commencement: UPDATE FOR 2020 —Tickets will be required for those attending Commencement this year. (The crowd size exceeded the capacity of the gym in previous years, which has posed a safety concern.)


Each graduate will be allocated a number of floor tickets and a number of bleacher seating tickets. (They will be two different colors.) The number of tickets available will be determined by the number of graduates, and this information will not be available until spring. Graduates will be contacted via email with directions for reserving tickets for their guests in March 2020. To accommodate guests unable to attend Commencement, it will be live-streamed with a link shared on Campusweb. CofO/SofO staff will have an opportunity to reserve tickets.

Graduates are required to attend Commencement unless excused. Commencement exercises will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 10, in the Keeter Gymnasium.

Seniors will line up beginning at 1:30 p.m.

Luncheon: A complimentary buffet luncheon will be available for all graduates and guests at the Activities Field between the Baccalaureate and Commencement services.

Reception: A reception will be held immediately following commencement at Doc Good Park located across from the main entrance of the Gymnasium.

Diplomas: You will receive your diploma cover during the commencement ceremony. December graduates may pick up their diploma following commencement in the gym lobby (concession stand window). May graduate diplomas may be picked up in the Dean of the College office the week of June 15th. If your diploma is not picked up the week of June 15th, 2020, it will be mailed provided you have no financial or other holds on your account. No diplomas or transcripts will be released until the completion of all obligations to the college. Please make sure we have your current mailing address on file.

Transcripts: Once your degree has been conferred, the Registrar’s office will contact you concerning your final transcript. After you have verified your course information, you may order your one free transcript and additional transcripts online through your Campusweb account (Student Resource section). You may also order online

at (C of O website under the Alumni section).

Announcements: Announcements may be ordered from the College Press, Herff-Jones at or from CB Graduation Announcements, by phone (800-433-0296), or The College Bookstore also has graduation announcement information available, but announcements are not available through the bookstore. Ordering graduation announcements is an option for seniors and you may use any business of your choice.

Class Rings & Diploma Frames: Class rings and diploma frames are available through Herff Jones. You can view options or contact the representative


2019-2020 Yearbooks: The yearbook will be available in late September or early October 2020. You may pick up a yearbook at the yearbook office or order through the mail by sending your name, address, and ID number along with $8.00 for postage



and handling to the yearbook office. Make checks payable to the College of the Ozarks, address: The Phoenix, College of the Ozarks, P.O. Box 17, Point Lookout, MO 65726. For further questions about ordering a yearbook, contact the Dean of Students office.


Live Streaming: All your family and friends who cannot make it to graduation will be able to watch the event live online. Graduation will be streamed live at no charge to anyone interested in viewing the event. It will begin at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 10. The link will be posted on the day of graduation and can be found on the C of O website: On the main Homepage under Features, go to the box highlighting graduation and click on the event listing to watch online.

Graduation DVDs: Commencement will be recorded and you may order a DVD on Sunday in the lobby of the gym. For further questions about ordering a graduation DVD, contact Dr. Curt Wilkinson in the Mass Communications department at
