Landscaping Position – The College of the Ozarks is looking for a Landscaping Director. This is a full-time position with benefits. Applicants must be able to provide leadership for the Landscaping Department on campus providing direct supervision to full-time staff and part-time student workers.  The candidate should have the ability to complete landscaping projects, possess good communication skills, budget planning and record keeping, a positive attitude, and appropriate organizational skills.  The successful applicant will be able to maintain the existing landscaping program, develop landscaping design to enhance the beauty of the campus, be able to troubleshoot turf and tree health issues, chemical knowledge, and incorporate floral and greenery design for special events.  The director oversees the College greenhouses, hydroponics, and coordinates with the agricultural department regarding the Farmers Market and college garden.  The candidate must demonstrate strong qualities that will represent the five-fold mission of the College through Academic, Vocational, Christian, Cultural, and Patriotic Missions.  This position requires a background check.  Please submit resume/application to Vicki Wrosch in the Business Office or Mail to Vicki Wrosch, College of the Ozarks, P.O. The Keeter Center – Sales and Marketing Manager - The Keeter Center at College of the Ozarks is a hotel, restaurant, and conference center with an excellent opportunity for a Hospitality Sales Professional. The ideal candidate must have a strong track record of sales in an upscale hotel environment with a passion for excellent service, and will provide strategic leadership that ensures effective and efficient operations of the sales to operations process. Responsibilities include hotel & catering sales, marketing, social media content and special events.   This position works with the management team to develop and implement departmental strategies to ensure sales goals are achieved. The position ensures the operation meets the standards, targets guest needs, focuses on growing business and maximizes the financial performance of the operation. The right candidate will embrace the College’s Christ-centered mission and five-fold vision. Other qualities necessary include strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively. Preferred qualifications include good communication skills, a positive attitude, an eye for detail, and relate well with the Academic, Vocational, Christian, Cultural, and Patriotic mission points of the College. Engineering/Physics - College of the Ozarks invites applications for a full-time faculty position to teach courses in physics and engineering. Preferred starting date is no later than January 2018. The position requires a degree in engineering as well as a master’s degree in engineering, physics, or a related area. The preferred candidate would hold a Ph.D. and have industry experience. The position requires a self-motivated, versatile individual with strong classroom teaching skills and the ability to work and communicate effectively with other faculty members. Rank and salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.  College of the Ozarks is a small (1,450 students), liberal arts, work-study college with a commitment to evangelical Christian faith and service located in southwest Missouri near Branson (www.cofo.edu).
