2010 College of the Ozarks FFA Workshop

Dear FFA Advisors,

            The College of the Ozarks Agriculture Department cordially invites your FFA Chapter to attend our annual FFA Workshop on March 6, 2010. The workshop is a great opportunity for students to get the extra practice they might need for their specific contest area. Registration for the workshop will be from 7:45 to 8:15 a.m. in the Youngman Agriculture Building. Information packets and score cards will be available for pick up at that time. We ask that only advisors come to the registration desks for packets and scorecards. Also, please remember that tobacco products are not permitted on campus.
            This year, we are using an electronic registration system. In order to register, please go to http://www.cofo.edu/agriculture and click the link FFA Workshop registration, before February 26, 2010. The entry fee prior to this deadline is $20 per school. After this deadline, the fee is $35 per school. We ask that you please send a check prior to the workshop to make things more efficient on the day of the workshop. Please make checks payable to College of the Ozarks and mail them to:

            We appreciate your chapter’s attendance at the College of the Ozarks FFA Workshop. There will be academic advisors and current students available during and immediately after the workshop to discuss the agriculture program. The Agriculture Department offers major emphasis in the areas of Agriculture Business, Animal Science, Horticulture, Agriculture Education, Agronomy, and Conservation and Wildlife Management. If you have any questions please call the Agriculture Department at 417- 690-3360. Agriculture Department tours are available during the week by calling the Agriculture Office and will be given by appointment.
